The Best Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookies

Who doesn't love chocolate chip cookies during the holiday season? Or any season, for that matter! There's just something about the warm chocolatey center when you bit into one fresh out of the oven. Sailor loves helping myself and Brian out in the kitchen so she decided to help me out with this batch. Maybe I'm biased, but Brian makes the BEST cookies at Herb and Wood, and I couldn't keep it a secret any longer… I had to share their recipe. What does it for me is the flaky sea salt on top; I mean, come on, sea-salt and chocolate? LOVE. The salt adds the needed contrast from the cookie's sweetest. I swear we make these two or three times a week because we can't get enough. Most of the time, my kids eat them all up before I can even get a chance to indulge. Don't tell them, but I started hiding them in the kitchen, so I know there will be one (or three) left for me. Oh my gosh, my mouth is watering, running to the kitchen to go make a batch right now, YUM!

Side Note: Support your local restaurants this holiday season and order take-out, get catering, buy gift cards for loved ones!
